Revolutionary Battle (1)
How did George Washington’s spy tactics aid him in his victory of the Revolutionary War?
In 1775, America declared war against their superior, Great Britain, to achieve independence and form their own colony. General George Washington became the central commander of American military tactics for the war. Previously a soldier for the British army, Washington had vast knowledge about their battle tactics and techniques, however, his knowledge did not extend to their movement and planned attacks. In 1778, George Washington created the first central intelligence agency for America. The continental spies greatly impacted the outcome of the war.
